Walter Harper of Tanana, AK, the first man to summit Mt. Denali in 1913 at 20 years old, around when this photo would have been taken. He died only 5 years later on his honeymoon on the SS Princess Sophia, which sank in 1918 killing all 353 passengers. [800×576]
