1930 portrait of Romanian fascist leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, who founded both the ‘Legion of the Archangel Michael’ in 1927 & the ‘Iron Guard’ in 1930. In 1938 he was strangled to death or shot on the orders of King Carol II, his corpse being disfigured with acid & buried in concrete (1135×720)
